The school improvement process is an ongoing cycle that starts over every five years. Aurora Public Schools is entering year five of the cycle in the 2017-2018 school year. The school improvement process helps us to continue to grow and learn new ways to meet the needs of all of our students. We strive to be the best we can be and the school improvement process helps us do just that.
Our school improvement goal is ” All students will increase comprehension through effective teaching and learning in order to improve knowledge and skills across all disciplines.” During the past four school years we have devoted time and resources into learning more effective teaching strategies including differentiation, and engagement strategies. All of our curriculums are aligned to our state standards ensuring that we are teaching our students the information that the State Board of Education deemed appropriate.
Aurora Public Schools strive for excellence daily and our teachers have high expectations for themselves and their students. We ensure that all students are receiving a high quality education and are prepared for life beyond high school.
